How Can I Earn Money From Home?

OK, so you want to work from home… Maybe you want to spend more time with your family, maybe you want to be your own boss but the question is how do you actually make money?

There are lots of ways you can make money from home but probably the simplest and safest way to start your own business is to start a Network Marketing business.   If you are new to Network Marketing or MLM (Multi Level Marketing), this basically involves joining an existing company as a representative and you will promote their products or services in return for a commission.  You can then build a team who will do the same and you will then earn commission off your team’s efforts. Normally start up costs are below £100 and you can start earning within a few days.

There are many MLM millionaires who are the success stories of the industry but the sad truth is there are far more failures.  While you can start earning straight away, the passive income that everyone dreams of does not happen overnight.   This kind of business requires HARD WORK, CONSISTENCY and endless SELF BELIEF!!!

Using the Internet to Build your Business

Many network marketers are using the internet to grow their businesses and earn extra income.  You can use the internet to leverage your time and reach more people than you could ever imagine if you were just working your business offline.  And there is the added potential of affiliate marketing which is probably the quickest way to start earning online quickly while you grow your MLM business.

So, how do you get started?

  1.  Choose a Network Marketing company.  There are literally hundreds to choose from.  Think about your personal values and what you would be happy to recommend.  If you want success, you need to be passionate about your company.  Take a look at http://www.businessopportunitywatch.com/ for unbiased reviews of different opportunities.
  2. Figure out your market and build a blog with content that your readers will find useful.  What do they struggle with?  What solutions can you provide?  You can get a blog for free using Blogger.com or WordPress.com but your content will be owned by the site providers.  For this reason, most people create a self-hosted blog using WordPress.org.  If you are starting out, I would recommend Hostgator’s basic package which costs only $5 per month.
  3. Use an opt in form on your blog to build a list of people who are interested in your product.  If you are starting out, I would recommend looking at Mailchimp which has a free option for up to 2000 subscribers.
  4. Get an autoresponder to help you automate your business and build relationships with your list.  For this I would recommend Aweber as it is versatile and easy to integrate with other products.
  5. Build relationships with your list and you can then offer them products that they will find useful.

So in summary, network marketing is a cheap and easy way to start your own business and earn extra income, and having an online presence will enhance your business considerably.  In my opinion, internet marketing  is a must for today’s entrepreneurs  and will help leverage your time, spread your message and build your team.  It will enhance your current offerings and done right you can earn an additional income stream while you are off enjoying yourself!

Direct Selling Defies Recession

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16140292

At last a positive news story amidst the doom and gloom!  More and more people are starting to realise that in such financial uncertainty and rising unemployment, the importance of taking control of their financial future.

When more and more people are losing their jobs, there has never been a better time to start a direct selling business, also known as MLM or network marketing.  Whether you work your business full time or part time or online or offline, not only can you can start earning instantly but also build a long term future with a rising residual income.

Probably the most important factor is that there is never a better time to start team building – and this is where the rising income comes from.  Think about it – you are helping people earn extra income – you are offering what pretty much every one wants – its a win win situation all round!

Saying that though, not everyone is prepared to put in the hard work.  And if you want the real rewards, you do need to put in the work.  Many people work their socks off for their employer, sure they take home an income but ultimately, it is the employer who reaps the rewards for their efforts.  Me, I want to control my future and enjoy the benefits of my hard work!

So am i worried about the recession?  No way because I know that I have the right vehicle for me to build a solid future for me and my family.  And of course, I’m going to put in the work!

Staying Energised

If you work from home or have your own business, staying energised and motivated is so important.  The minute your energy levels dip you can start to loose focus and suddenly, your whole business looses its energy too!

Sometimes it is a hard slog when starting out and success can seem a long way off in the distance but raising your physical and mental energy levels will help you stay focused and keep you reaching for the stars!

So here are my 5 tips for raising your energy levels and staying motivated.

1.  Exercise every day (you knew that one was coming didn’t you!).  It doesn’t have to be running or sweating it out in the gym, just MOVE and enjoy it!  As a guideline 30 minutes per day will boost your circulation, raise endorphins, improve your energy levels and help regulate sleep patterns.  Walk to the park, fly a kite, skip down the road with a big smile on your face (try it, people will think your a nutter but its fun!) , even doing the house work, vacuuming or washing up will count towards for 30 minutes of activity but personally I would recommend making time to get outside everyday.  This leads me onto number 2.

2. Get outside every day.  This is where the magic happens.  Seriously!  Smile and connect with people, it is so rewarding to share a smile and the sometimes the most unexpected things happen as a result of a small conversation.

3.  Eat well.  Huge topic but I’ll be brief.  Good food is so important to maintaining good energy levels.  Also an important one if you work from home and are prone to wandering to the fridge!  As a basic guideline, eat fruit and veg aplenty.  Avoid refined sugar and sugary drinks (the enemy of good energy levels).  Know your body.  If after 20 minutes of eating something you are feeling sluggish, that particular food probably doesn’t agree with you and you might be best off avoiding it.

4. Drink lots of water.  When we are de-hydrated, we can tend to mistake this for hunger and can reach for the fridge when we are actually thirsty and could do with a good it glass of water.  Go on – love yourself – go and have a glass of lovely water!  Get hydrated – its the best thing you can do for yourself.  Feel the difference.

5.  Focus on the positive.  Sometimes things can seem a struggle but by focusing on the positive, you will find your way.  There will be negative thoughts that creep up on you.  Acknowledge them and then bid them goodbye.  Remember that problems are good.  They help us grow. Always be thankful for what you have.

Young jobless ‘Neets’ reach record level

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-15870240

Depressing figures that 1.16 million of 16-24 year olds are not in education, employment or training (Neets).  And the situation is so desperate that employers are pretty much able to pay what they want.

So we have a generation of youngsters fighting for jobs where they will be underpaid and undervalued.  Not a pretty picture for the future self-esteem of the generation or the country for that matter.

So what can be done for you Neets out there?  Rather than be undervalued and underpaid, the much more rewarding and profitable option is to start your own business.   For those with entrepreneurial spirit and prepared to put in the work, the future could be so much brighter.

I would recommend that everyone out of work, particularly the young with a lack of skilled experience, channel their energies into being their own boss and start their own network marketing business.  In some cases, there are even grants and government support available for help with start up.

Now don’t get me wrong, there are no get rich quick schemes.  It will take dedication and hard work.  But with applied and consistent effort the rewards and long term future are there for the takers.

Saying goodbye to fear

Apparently, the only two fears that humans are born with is the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises which are fears are in built to protect us from danger.  I’m not really sure exactly if or how this can be proven but it makes sense.  So where then, do all the other fears that we carry around come from?  And more importantly, what can we do to tame them?

In order to be successful in life and really be free to live out our dreams, we need to be fearless.  Fear holds us back.  Too many of us carry around unhelpful fears that when you break them down don’t serve any positive purpose.

Fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of embarrassment – all unhelpful and limiting.

So what can you do to rid yourself of fear?

1.  Grow as a person.  Build that self belief, confidence and love within yourself.  Grow bigger than your fears so that when you come to face what it is that scares you, it no longer seems so big and scary.

2.  Visualise yourself facing your most fearful scenario and alter the images until they are dull and far away.  Play around with the mental video and replay it in your head until it becomes insignificant or even funny.  Add Benny Hill music to make it seem farcial – whatever works for you.

3.  Face those fears.  Remeber that life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

4.  Affirm your fearlessness.  Every morning say out loud 6 times ‘I AM FEARLESS’.  And if you don’t believe it, say it LOUDER or at least until you make yourself laugh!

What to do with my life?

This is a question that many people ask themselves from their school days well into middle age.  At the age of 33, I was still asking myself that very same question and luckily I did enough soul searching and questioning to find my true purpose.

Whether it it because of financial circumstances such as redundancy or trouble finding a job after education, we are certainly in a time where people of all ages and in all walks of life are suddenly wondering what direction they should take.

Having a mission in life and a real purpose to fulfil is undoubtedly the real route to happiness.

So how do you find your true purpose?  Here is my quick list of questions to ask yourself when trying to decide which path to take.  Get a pen and paper and start writing as if your life depends on it!…

1.  What did you want to when you were younger?  Go a bit crazy with this one, list everything (my list included stunt woman)!

2.  What are your interests?

3.  What makes you happy?  Or what do you like doing?  (If you can’t think of anything then think back to a time when you did feel happy.  What could re-create that feeling?)

4.  What are your skills?  (If your answer to this is ‘none’ then keep thinking!  Everyone is good at something no matter how insignificant it seems.  The fact that you are even reading this and asking yourself this question  differentiates you as a reader, a thinker, I could go on…)

5.  What are your resources? (eg. laptop, car, printer, savings, house)

6.  What are your personal values and principles?  (This is the most important one when finding your purpose) See the list below for some ideas:

FREEDOM, LOVE, FAMILY, HAPPINESS, INTEGRITY, CREATIVITY, LEARNING, HELPING, EXCITEMENT, COURAGE, EXCELLENCE, MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE….

7.  What do your heros/heroines do?

Read through what you have written and see if any pattern is forming.  Close your eyes and try to visualise the person you want to become.

YOU ALREADY HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION YOU ALREADY NEED!  It is now just a case of deciphering it!  By asking yourself these questions and by  putting it down in black and white, you have already started creating your new future.  Until the picture becomes clear, keep asking yourself these same questions and let the pictures in your mind run wild!

I’ve applied for 300 jobs and not had one reply – stories of unemployed youth

Such a bleak picture is painted of the prospects for the youngsters of today but the reality is that it needn’t be this way.  Sadly, in school, we are not taught how to dream and how to follow our dreams, rather we are conditioned by the expectations of those around us to follow a certain path.  Get a good education, get a steady job, a mortgage blah blah blah…

So what is the alternative?  Well start your own home business for one.  In this economic climate, there has never been a better time to work for yourself.  Many people are deterred from starting their own business because of  start up costs, perceived “risk” and the lack of “steady” or “guaranteed” income.   However, you can start up your own MLM business for under £50 and start earning right away!

So for all of you like the young people in the article, surely it is time to take matters into your own hands and creating your own future?  Surely taking a small risk for great gains is better than a life on the dole?
